During the initial decades of the twentieth century, Danish architects undertook the challenge of mitigating the glare associated with electric lighting. In our Barron family of light fixtures, we adopt the solution they developed, employing layered, curved shades with a floral-inspired design. These shades feature a finely textured black exterior and a metal finish on the interior, creating a visually pleasing aesthetic. To enhance the lighting experience, opal-etched diffusers are thoughtfully nested in pairs within each shade, contributing to the gentle diffusion and softening of the light.
