The Olympia design emits an āanti glare' spread of light. The diffuser shape helps shine light outwards and downwards as a soft wash . At dusk, Olympia will illuminate at full brightness, and then follow a gradual 5 hour dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness, retaining battery charge for longer.
