The Radiata Timber Path Light is a pine post bollard equipped with a 240v Slatlite brass LED light. The wooden posts are crafted from sustainably sourced Radiata Pine Timber, renowned for its low split properties and absence of feathering. These posts undergo extensive pre-treatment, ensuring the wood is fully penetrated by the latest generation wood preservative during pressure treatment. Tanalith E preservative is used in accordance with BS8417 standards to meet Use Class 4 requirements. This ensures the timber is durable and suitable for various climates, whether hot or wet. Additionally, the posts are fully sanded for a smooth, high-quality finish.

The light fixture, made of solid brass in a stylish rustic bronze finish, requires a G9 LED bulb (purchased separately). The Radiata design allows for 300mm to 400mm of the wooden bollard to be securely mounted in the ground, with an expected lifespan of up to 15 years and a standard 5-year guarantee.

While the preservative treatment helps to reduce cracking by increasing the wood's moisture level, natural materials like Radiata Pine may still exhibit structural features such as knots, splits, and twists. Cracking due to moisture variations is common and generally does not affect the post's strength. It is recommended to install these wooden posts between October and March to avoid rapid drying caused by intense sunlight. However, they should not be installed in waterlogged areas, as this can negatively affect the wood.
